We are looking for a Technical Purchaser for our innovative customer Danfoss Editron, based in Lappeenranta, Finland.

As a Technical Purchaser your key responsibilities are purchasing a wide variety of electronic components, custom components, and materials required in the manufacturing. In this role you work closely with both domestic and foreign suppliers and take care of possible purchase order inconsistencies, such as delivery dates, volume, price, quality, and specifications. In addition, you collaborate closely with our Sourcing organization, Product Designers, Production Planners, and Quality and Sales departments.

You are the perfect match for us when you have some experience of related purchasing experience, preferably from the manufacturing industry. In addition, you have the skills to read, analyze and understand technical drawings and specifications, and you have proficient knowledge of SAP and Excel. To be successful in this role, it is required to have fluent English and Finnish language skills.

In addition to the qualifications above, you:

• Understand cost structures of materials including impact of underlying material cost driver trends to ascertain lowest overall cost sources of supply, domestically and internationally

• Build and maintain supplier/vendor relationships assuring an adequate supply base for assigned commodities

• Act as a key facilitator with operations and suppliers to affect positive change within the sourcing category

Additionally, we offer possibility to work remotely. The contract of employment will be one year fixed-term contract with the possibility of continuation.
