We are looking for Quality Excellence Engineer to join Sherwin-Williams’ research and development-oriented organization. The position is permanent and will start as soon as possible. You will be located in the Vantaa site on top of which the job also requires travelling abroad (approximately 30%).
The Quality Excellence Engineer's main tasks are being responsible for delivering quality-related projects, delivery of quality standards, and reacting to customer feedback and complaints. You work closely with the company’s European laboratories in multinational teams. You are also expected to be able to translate different technical quality results to “customer language” and have dialogue regarding them. Equipment training is available if needed.
You are also responsible for introducing new and modified products to the manufacturing environment and to the market. This requires excellent cooperation project skills and time management. Role will also require you to support Customer complaints and root cause analysis
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
bachelor’s level degree for example in process engineering
previous experience in similar tasks (Operations, Quality or Technical)
solid collaboration skills and on the other hand the ability to work independently
the ability to look outside the box as well as strong problem-solving skills (Root Cause investigations)
Continuous Improvement Knowledge - Lean
- a strong command of Finnish and English.
Six Sigma Green Belt is beneficial.
