AXA Partners is looking for a Distribution Manager for a fixed-term maternity leave replacement (approximately for 1 year), based in Helsinki, Finland.
In this role your key responsibilities are to support overall sales delivery. In addition, you are responsible for the definition and implementation of sales drivers including the development of our partner’s sales network.
As a Distribution Manager you will be working on two key areas, distribution, and training. You will be responsible for working with our AXA partners and distribute our offers through our partner’s existing distribution systems while facilitating their networks. By defining our offers and content you will be able to roll out the offers through our partner structures in a way that it can be used for all tender procedures. You will advise our partners on the distribution strategy and the optimization of their action plans by developing investment rules and setting up systems to monitor the profitability of the operations over time.
The training area includes helping our partner clients by developing training activities and resources such as e-learning courses, IMD certification, product & sales training but also Train-the-Trainer courses. You can manage the internal / external relationships with key contacts and conduct all the training and consultancy activities within agreed budgets in conjunction with the account management team.
You are the perfect match for us when you have:
- Experience in Sales promotion, preferably in the financial or insurance market
- Good inter-personal and communication skills
- Demonstrable presentation and facilitation skills
- Proven record of interacting and negotiating with individuals at all levels
- Good both written and verbal communication skills in languages applicable to your territory as well as English
- Willingness to travel as required to client locations (local and internationally)
- Good IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to learn new systems
- Relevant educational background (e.g., Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business, or other relevant area)
In addition to the qualifications above, you have a strong capacity of conviction and ability to negotiate with major customers and partners. Also, knowledge of the basics in the Credit and Lifestyle Protection and reinsurance business is beneficial in this position or capability to acquire the basics rapidly.
